It’s a great pleasure to announce that Dr. Demarche, whose Daily Demarche has been at the top of my daily reading list ever since its inception a year ago, is joining forces with American Future. As he explains in the final post, his decision to terminate the Daily Demarche is prompted by a variety of factors that have recently prevented him from dedicating the necessary time and attention to it.

I’m honored to have Doctor D. select my blog as the soapbox for him to air his insights. While he may post just once a week and more frequently if time allows, I look upon our association as a merger rather than as an acquisition. As a self-described member of the State Department Republican underground, Dr. D. will bring an added perspective and knowledge base to American Future.

Dr. D’s blog was instantly popular—much more so than mine, and his links to American Future helped it to get off the ground. Over the past year, he and I have traded many an email and frequently commented on each other’s blog. From these frequent communications, it was readily apparent that we had similar concerns, albeit from very different vantage points.

Because of Doctor D., American Future is going to be better than ever. Please come along for the ride.
